Birth Control
Birth Control

Birth control is a safe and easy way to prevent pregnancy. Some types of birth control can also help treat certain health problems or provide other health benefits — like making periods lighter and less painful. Almost everybody uses birth control at some point in their life.
Birth control isn’t one-size-fits-all. There are lots of different birth control methods that work in different ways. That’s where our expertise comes in.

HIV Services

HIV is a virus that damages your immune system, making it easier for you to get sick. HIV is spread through contact with semen (cum), vaginal fluids, and blood — usually during unprotected sex. HIV can affect anybody. About 1 million people in the U.S. are living with HIV, and more than 41,000 new infections happen every year.
You can’t tell if you have HIV just by the way you feel, because most people who get HIV don’t have any symptoms for years. The only way to know for sure if you have HIV is to get tested.
Luckily, HIV testing is pretty easy and painless. And if you DO have HIV, it’s best to find out right away so you can take medication to help you stay healthy and lower your chances of spreading HIV to others.

Accidents happen. If you had sex without using birth control or made a mistake using your method, there’s still a way to prevent pregnancy — but you have to act fast.
Emergency contraception is birth control you can use to prevent pregnancy up to five days (120 hours) after unprotected sex. It’s safe and effective. There are two types of emergency contraception: morning-after pills, and the copper IUD.
You can get some types of morning-after pills (like Plan B) without a prescription at our store.
For other types of emergency contraception (like the copper IUD or ella morning-after pill), you need a prescription.
